Agreed!!! Love this perspective, focus on outcome and rehab looking to the future instead of focusing on labels and looming into the past

If physios spent more time explaining to patients their prognosis rather than their diagnosis we would see less unnecessary treatments, more success, and greater patient satisfaction... https://t.co/OnyT6UowFp https://t.co/1yK35UvkRQ

DW. A diagnosis is a label attached to a patient that has focused on pathology within the body. It is used to (a) give prognosis and (b) help determine beneficial interventions. It is becoming an end in itself. We should reconsider diagnostic labelling. h

@MGKatz036 @venkmurthy @True_EP @MarcDweck @RonBlankstein @RogueRad @afshinfarzan @seth_uretsky Very valid point. Diagnosing CS is a hot mess (PET pun unintended). Definitive diagnosis is only possible through EMB which is rarely done and deemed low yield.
@DehaeneDan @per_strand I believe we should move towards a prognostic model of care. https://t.co/c325hymYv1
#Mediclingo Prognosis is the likelihood of future outcomes for a given disease or health condition, which is very different from diagnosis. Read more about it here: https://t.co/TpytFI0KHR #PCMC #hospital #healthcondition https://t.co/JMfB9UETQK
