Studies that examined rice intake stratified by water concentrations of arsenic found evidence of increasing trends in cardiovascular disease risk, skin lesions, and squamous cell skin cancers and bladder cancer associated with higher rice consumption. htt
@ScepticalDoctor Rice powders are full of arsenic and this often does not get washed out during cooking? https://t.co/1MPozBFRgx

Dr. @timspector prefers folks eat RICE..... say there, Dr Spector, do you still advocate RICE after reading this? https://t.co/OX9dc1DGdf fairly easy to find arsenic levels in rice via peer reviewed literature if one LOOKS....

Arsenic increasing in fields as we mine groundwater and keep rice fields flooded. Plus the huge quantities of chemical fertilisers & toxic pesticides. We are in fact feeding India poison & multiplying its disease burden @DILIPtheCHERIAN , @PMOIndia

eg https://t.co/vylBp4GxoJ Considering that, asserting that eating rice poses a risk to humans due to arsenic, at this present time, is premature and not based on the current scientific evidence.

@tariqtramboo FYI: Brown Rice has 80% more arsenic in it which is linked to an increased risk of developing Type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Eating in moderation /portion control should be the advice here. source: https://t.co/RE0oFwKZts

if we want to reduce our carbohydrate intake, may I suggest we all eliminate rice first? because India is working on genetic engineering the rice plant to prevent it from sucking up arsenic so readily... all over the world, people are coping with arsenic.
sorry to tag you @davidludwigmd but you think high arsenic is from drinking tea? I now have 100 peer reviewed articles on arsenic & type 2 diabetes & rice amplification. https://t.co/G68sVwDAum
@kevinnbass I think that processed rice concentrates some of these compounds. What's the health risk if consuming protein rich concentrations of this source daily?more studies needed of course. https://t.co/AhsxIDaEpO
