@waywest8 @DevonPage5 @ElizabethMay Pls start w "In Search of Sustainability" 1996. Variable retention of uncut trees was developed afterwards to leave local seed & wildlife trees. Vibrancy of old-growth ecosystem is now measured using fungi. Pls note
