The undefined figure: Instructional designers in the open educational resource (OER) movement in higher education

Second, the success of an #OER initiative/movement cannot rest exclusively on shoulders of faculty: Admin, librarians, IDs , faculty need to form collaborative partnerships (nb. this is also what blended learning research tells us) #OEP

Some interesting points to pull out of this article: first, the culture between faculty and IDs needs to shift from one of viewing ID as copyeditor to a valuable partner. Admin has role to help shift this. #OEP #OER
