I learned from @kbguzzo about this recent Demography paper on cohabitation by @wmannin, @Brownsl_BGSU, and @lamoesther. One key finding: while cohabitation spells are still relatively short on average, they have lengthened over the past several decades. h
@graykimbrough It's rare as a long-term union. It's super-common but relatively short-lived (people either break up or get married pretty quickly). Lasting longer than in the past, though. See new Demography paper by @wmannin @Brownsl_BGSU @lamoesther http
