In our next experiment we took a step backwards. We didn't use pine sawfly larvae but its eggs deposited on needles. Birds can eat also insect eggs, so we tested if birds are attracted to these egg-deposited pines. The answer is, yes they are #ornitholoday

When our article was accepted and then published online few weeks ago, I thought that the "actual version" will be in some 2019 issue. But no, it will be already in December 2018 issue. So, the current citation Mäntylä et al. 2018 will be correct one. 🙂 ht
