Increase in esodeviation under cycloplegia with 0.5% tropicamide and 0.5% phenylephrine mixed eye drops in patients with hyperopia and esotropia

Many children with accommodative esotropia and hyperopia had increased esodeviation after 0.5% tropicamide/0.5% phenylephrine; possibly from lower fusional divergence effort from cycloplegic blur or excessive accommodative effort from partial cycloplegia.
