@LabradorIce @ClimateOfGavin @micefearboggis @nytclimate @StatModeling I can't reconcile low numbers with palaeo evidence in my own conceptual view of the world. Although Nic does have a palaeo paper https://t.co/Bov8TMQFbJ

Since I'm thinking about Bayesian ECS estimates I just read Lewis&Grünwald 2017. I highly recommend it. I disagree with the priors and so also the conclusion, but methodologically its excellent. Worth redoing. Was discussed here https://t.co/CmxzE7ZXs

https://t.co/ZCAS5b4233 Cet article montre une nouvelle fois que l'ECS (augmentation de température pour un doublement du CO2: 560ppm) est comprise entre 1.1 et 4.1°C. https://t.co/ZCAS5b4233
@thirstygecko Lewis has a new paper where he tries to capture palaeo evidence. Still has a low (median) sensitivity. I haven't read it yet but it intuitively seems counter to most of what I understand from palaeo data https://t.co/Bov8TMQFbJ
