RD is a method that can be used to evaluate effects of exposures when a continuously measured variable has a cutoff value that can be used to assign treatment (or other exposure) status to those just above or below the threshold. 2/n https://t.co/M6StW8f7A
@SamantaAnriquez Este paper es bastante útil: https://t.co/YqB8GAOWV1
@BL4PublicHealth @jd_wilko @MaartenvSmeden Worth noting: most of the authors on this article are economists by training, out of the same doctoral program I did. Slightly more epi "insider" are the ones from Catie Oldenberg, but again overlap in authors ht
RDD is a great way to study treatment effects in observational medical data. Normally, statisticians hate how doctors dichotomize continuous variables. But assigning treatment based on threshold of a continuous var helps isolate treatment effects. htt

Triangulation talk from @CatieOldenburg focused on regression discontinuity for timing of ART initiation. See her terrific review on RD: https://t.co/OzQ0DrPSnd https://t.co/BnbjtMVhPb
@SylvainCF @causalinf .@CatieOldenburg prob has more recent examples, but see for instance https://t.co/JBTvh60DMV
