I build my research classes around these approaches now, and it really does have a huge impact on how students engage with sources. To me, that's much more valuable than most of the other stuff I used to do in research classes.

Ha...I have one middle school in my town that consistently invites me to speak, to their honors students, for four hours about info lit. One school. To honors students only. Not sure how folks think the info lit skills are learned if they aren't taught.
